Day 1: Arrival to Hanoi - Hanoi city tour (L/D)

Arrival: Welcome to Hanoi! Upon arrival, our team will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel located in Hanoi downtown. Check-in time is from 14:00 PM onward.

Take some time to relax and refresh after your flight.

City Tour: In the afternoon, begin your half-day Hanoi city tour. As Vietnam’s cultural and political capital, Hanoi presents a beautiful mix of ancient traditions and French-colonial charm. We will start by visiting the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum located at Ba Dinh Square, the most important political square in Vietnam.

Across from the mausoleum, see the Vietnam Parliament House and the nearby Presidential Palace.

Next, visit the stunning Tran Quoc Pagoda located on an island in Hanoi’s West Lake. As Hanoi’s oldest pagoda, with over 1,500 years of history, it is a cultural, spiritual, and historical treasure.

Continue to Hoan Kiem Lake — the heart of Hanoi. Here, you will also see the King Ly Thai To statue and learn about Hanoi’s thousand-year-old history. End your walking tour in the charming Old Quarter, known for its narrow lanes, traditional houses, and friendly locals. Return to your hotel in the evening.

Optional (at your own expense):
– 1-hour Cyclo ride through the Old Streets
– 1-hour Water Puppet Show in the evening

Note: Lunch and Dinner will be provided at an Indian Restaurant.

Morning: Begin your day with a scenic drive to Ninh Bình Province, known for its limestone karsts and ancient history. Your first stop will be Hoa Lu, the former capital of Vietnam in the 10th and 11th centuries.

Here, you’ll visit the beautifully preserved temples dedicated to King Dinh Tien Hoang, King Le Dai Hanh, and King Ly Thai To. Learn about the origins of Vietnam’s earliest centralized feudal dynasties: the Dinh, Le, and Ly dynasties. The architecture and historical significance of these temples are a powerful glimpse into Vietnam’s royal past.

Afternoon: Head to Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Board a traditional sampan wooden boat for a tranquil 2.5-hour journey. You’ll gently row through winding streams, between dramatic limestone mountains, lush valleys, and into mysterious water caves.

The experience includes exploring sacred grottoes and even getting off the boat to visit ancient temples or shrines nestled among the hills. As you glide through caves like a natural tunnel, you’ll witness stunning transitions between darkness and light as each cave exit reveals a new landscape.

Enjoy the peaceful scenery, fresh air, and reflections of the mountains in the crystal-clear waters—truly a magical experience in northern Vietnam.

Evening: After a day full of discovery, return to Hanoi. Check in and relax. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Note: Lunch and Dinner will be served at an Indian Restaurant.

Today we depart from Hanoi to explore the breathtaking Halong Bay, also known as the “Dragon Descending to the Sea.” This natural wonder is renowned for its emerald waters and thousands of towering limestone islands topped with rainforests.

Halong Bay has been recognized twice by UNESCO as a World Natural Heritage Site for its outstanding scenic beauty and geological significance. Upon arrival at the bay, we board a Day Cruise for a 5–6 hour voyage through the iconic limestone karsts and islets.

The cruise will take us to the Bo Hon archipelago, where you’ll visit the spectacular Surprising Cave (Sung Sot Cave)—famous for its massive chambers filled with stalactites and stalagmites of various shapes.

Continue to Luon Cave, where you have the option to explore by kayak or bamboo boat (at your own expense), navigating through a serene lagoon surrounded by cliffs and lush greenery. Then, head to the stunning Titov Island. Relax on the beach or hike to the island’s peak for a panoramic view of Halong Bay’s majestic seascape.

After an unforgettable experience in the bay, return to the pier and transfer back to Hanoi. Overnight stay in Hanoi.
